Silk Biomed is a spin-off company of the Biomedical Technology Center of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (CTB-UPM) dedicated to the development, production and marketing of high-tech biomedical materials and products based on silk-fibroin, biohybrids, tissue engineering and cell therapy.
Silk Biomed was born with the vocation of improving people’s health and transferring the latest technological developments in regenerative therapies to society. Silk Biomed specialises in the development and production of biomaterials and products meant to repair and regenerate tissues and organ injuries of the human body.
